Description:
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI cloud-based smart city solutions such as smart mobility and traffic management
- Work on mobility data cleaning and integration, model creation and simulation in addition to model optimization for smart city solutions
- Implement AI algorithms for smart city solutions
- Evaluate tools, frameworks and libraries for building smart city solutions
- Cooperate with external partners on real world smart city projects in Europe
- Interact with Open Source and Smart cities communities
- Contribute to the development of AI and Big Data analytics solution for smart cities
Your qualifications:
- MSc. or Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering or other domain-related discipline
- Strong experience in Python, Java, and OO concepts
- Strong experience in data collection and cleaning in addition to data driven frameworks
- Experience in working with AI
- Comfortable communicating in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team-work spirit and independent working capability
- Hands-on and can-do attitude
- Experience in Processes and Practice of Software Engineering
Preferred qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in working with Docker, SUMO, Flink, Kafka
- Distributed AI and ML algorithm development for large scale problems
- Experience with AI applications for smart cities
- Open source experience and/or contributions
Responsibilities:
