Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI cloud-based smart city solutions such as smart mobility and traffic management
• Work on mobility data cleaning and integration, model creation and simulation in addition to model optimization for smart city solutions
• Implement AI algorithms for smart city solutions
• Evaluate tools, frameworks and libraries for building smart city solutions
• Cooperate with external partners on real world smart city projects in Europe
• Interact with Open Source and Smart cities communities
• Contribute to the development of AI and Big Data analytics solution for smart cities

Your qualifications:

• MSc. or Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering or other domain-related discipline
• Strong experience in Python, Java, and OO concepts
• Strong experience in data collection and cleaning in addition to data driven frameworks
• Experience in working with AI
• Comfortable communicating in English
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team-work spirit and independent working capability
• Hands-on and can-do attitude
• Experience in Processes and Practice of Software Engineering

Preferred qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in working with Docker, SUMO, Flink, Kafka
• Distributed AI and ML algorithm development for large scale problems
• Experience with AI applications for smart cities
• Open source experience and/or contributions
