WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Minimum 10 years experience of both Airfreight Export and Seafreight Export with competence and confident in both modes of transport
• Expert for Pharma/Perishable/Secure Cargo product
• Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Very strong analytical and decision making skills
• A high level of energy with a “can-do” positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
• Eligibility to work in the country in which you are employed is essential

• Researching and planning the most appropriate and cost-effective route for shipment
• Organising, plans and facilitates the day to day work within the Air & Sea freight Export Department.
• Acting as an expert within the department quickly identifying and resolving any operational issues in a timely manner to ensure quick resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs.
• Checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packaging specifications, and compliance with overseas countries’ regulations and fiscal regimes
• Ensuring customer’s needs, requirements, and KPIs are met or exceeded
• Liaising with and manage third parties in accordance with customer requirements
• Arranging insurance and assist the client in the event of a claim
• Communicating with the customer, maintaining visibility and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports, statistical and unit cost analyst
• Creating, building, and maintaining excellent relationships with key suppliers both internal and external.
• Completing customs formalities or sub-contracting services
• Providing quotations to existing clients/ new clients and agents
• Continuously monitoring supplier performance and developing improvement plans when required
• Driving continuous improvement within the department
• Responsible for assisting with department P&L.
• Helping and support local business development opportunities, supporting the sales process and customer visits as necessary to achieve growth targets
