About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Ocean Freight Forwarder to join a growing international logistics company. Based in Manchester, you’ll be part of the sea freight team handling day-to-day export shipments, liaising with clients, issuing documentation, and ensuring smooth, timely operations. The role is central to delivering excellent customer service and safeguarding on-time export.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sea freight import/export shipments
• Prepare and monitor all transport/customs documentation
• Coordinate shipments with carriers, agents, and customs
• Provide updates and support to clients on their cargo
• Resolve potential shipment issues proactively
• Build strong relationships with customers and partners

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years’ experience in ocean freight forwarding (import/export)
• Strong knowledge of sea cargo operations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the industry
