JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and experienced International Freight Forwarder to quote and manage end-to-end logistics for our clients’ international shipments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global trade regulations, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering efficient freight solutions. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in international freight forwarding or logistics.
  • In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance.
  • Proficiency in logistics software
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification such as CIFFA is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate international and domestic freight shipments via air, sea, and land, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
  • Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and international agents and partners to resolve issues and ensure compliance with global regulations (e.g., INCOTERMS, tariffs, and trade laws).
  • Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients.
  • Negotiate rates with freight providers to optimize costs and service levels.
  • Help clients navigate customs clearance processes, including tariff classifications and duty calculations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, such as delays or regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support business development and client retention.
