OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Freight Forwarder to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating smooth operations within the supply chain. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics, excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency in various software systems.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics management is essential.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems and supply chain processes is highly desirable.
• Proficient in CRM software and data entry practices.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record in sales management preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations is an advantage for handling specific products.

• Coordinate and manage the movement of freight from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery.
• Utilise transportation management systems to optimise routes and track shipments.
• Maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with service providers to achieve cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including FDA regulations for specific goods.
• Manage data entry for shipments and maintain accurate records in CRM software.
• Collaborate with sales management teams to support lead generation and B2B sales initiatives.
• Oversee logistics operations, including 3PL coordination and EDI processes.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
