Your tasks:

  • Optimal customer support and advice in day-to-day business
  • Order acceptance and verification of all shipment and order-related data and documents for feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
  • Handling of transport orders and freight space bookings with shipping companies, subcontractors, and DSV branches/partners overseas, as well as DSV internal service providers, in accordance with DSV system and process specifications, up to and including file closure.
  • Compliance with country-specific and customer-specific regulations
  • Customs documentation independently or in cooperation with the customs department
  • Correct use of all approved applications for sea freight
  • Handling operational customer inquiries and resolving irregularities and complaints
  • Escalation management according to specifications
  • Quality responsibility in accordance with DSV internal guidelines, as well as compliance with/adherence to predefined processes/KPIs, IOPs, and SOPs.
  • Support in creating customized IOPs and SOPs
  • Independent invoicing of transport orders and processing of incoming invoices in accordance with DSV guidelines.
  • Building and expanding customer relationships
  • Coordination, price calculation, offer preparation according to DSV guidelines, and acquisition of existing and new customers to secure and expand business.
  • Customer visits with superiors and members of the sales team
  • Commercial and administrative tasks as instructed by the supervisor
  • Compliance with the DSV Code of Conduct
  • Further development and use of various IT systems in the area of ​​Process and People Services, such as ticketing systems, document management systems, digital personnel files, master data tools, Power BI, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Compliance with and development of defined SLAs and KPIs for one's own area
  • Responsibility for one's own team of employees within one or more divisions, as well as responsibility for representing the areas of other colleagues.
  • Preparation of employment contract documents, certificates and hearing forms for the co-determination bodies.
  • Participation in projects in the areas of digitalization, automation and service transformation.
  • Advising stakeholders on processes, standards and guidelines within the P&O service portfolio
