MULTIMODAL FREIGHT FORWARDER

Newcastle upon Tyne
£28,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:30pm
Full-Time | Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Freight Forwarder with multimodal experience to join a well-established logistics team in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate to take the next step in their freight forwarding career within a dynamic and growing business.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in freight forwarding (multimodal preferred)
• Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and international trade regulations
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proficiency in freight/logistics systems and Microsoft Office

• Coordinating import and export shipments across air, road, and sea
• Managing full cycle freight forwarding processes, including quotations, bookings, and customs documentation
• Liaising with clients, carriers, and agents to ensure timely and efficient transport
• Providing excellent customer service and problem-solving support throughout the shipment process
• Maintaining accurate records in line with compliance and operational procedures
