JOB POSITION

We are seeking a dynamic Freight Forwarding and Customer Service Officer with a strong sales background in the logistics industry to join our Singapore branch. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on sales and business development. This position requires a proactive, customer-focused individual with a passion for logistics and a deep understanding of the freight forwarding process.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the logistics industry, specifically in freight forwarding and sales.
  • Proven track record of business development and sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of the logistics and freight forwarding process.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Mandarin or other regional languages is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the logistics sector.
  • Promote and sell Wiseway’s freight forwarding services, ensuring that customer requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics solutions, including pricing, operations, and delivery coordination.
  • Provide customers with accurate and timely quotes for air, sea, and land freight services.
  • Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless movement of goods.
  • Develop new business opportunities and identify areas for growth within the Singapore market.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any logistical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade and customs regulations.
  • Monitor and track shipments, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and the satisfaction of clients.
  • Maintain and manage client accounts, ensuring smooth communication and customer satisfaction.
