Description

Independent organization and handling of national and international transport orders
Planning, controlling and monitoring transports as well as ensuring on-time completion
Communication and coordination with customers, freight forwarders, carriers and other service providers
Creation and processing of freight, shipping and transport documents
Obtaining and comparing freight rates and preparing quotations
Monitoring of ongoing shipments and processing of deviations and complaints.
Review of incoming invoices and preparation of the billing of transport services
Maintenance of order and customer-related data in the forwarding or ERP system

Successfully completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
Professional experience in freight forwarding and logistics is an advantage.
Knowledge of handling national and/or international transports
Good written and spoken English skills are an advantage.
Proficient use of standard MS Office applications and ideally experience with freight forwarding software.
Strong organizational skills and a structured way of working
Strong communication skills, service orientation and teamwork
Excellent German skills, both spoken and written.
