Containers, customer orders, domestic transport, and international contacts: In sea freight, many processes converge simultaneously. Do you enjoy working in a structured manner, communicate effectively, and want to manage international transport from a commercial perspective?

Then you can expect a diverse role in sea freight handling and export logistics in Ulm.

Your tasks in sea freight

They handle the commercial and operational management of sea freight export orders and ensure that the individual process steps mesh reliably.

• They manage the operational handling of sea freight export shipments and keep track of deadlines and order status.
• They organize the necessary domestic transport for containers and general cargo.
• They process customer orders and coordinate the associated transport processes.
• They support existing customers in their day-to-day business and are available as a competent contact person.
• They coordinate with national and international colleagues as well as participating transport partners.
• They capture and update shipment and order information in the CargoWise transport management system.

Your profile

• They bring practical experience from freight forwarding, logistics, export processing or commercial administration.
• Ideally, you are familiar with the processes of sea freight, international logistics, or transport handling.
• Training in the field of freight forwarding and logistics services is advantageous, but not a mandatory requirement.
• They work reliably, in a structured manner, and with a customer focus.
• You interact confidently and professionally with customers, service providers, and international colleagues.
• They have very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
• You are familiar with using digital transport and order management systems.
• CargoWise knowledge is a plus, but can be developed through structured training.

If you already have experience in freight forwarding, sea freight, export logistics, or order processing, you possess the necessary technical foundation. You will receive targeted training in the existing processes and the transport management system in use.
