For an internationally operating company in the heart of Hamburg, we are immediately seeking a dedicated freight forwarding agent (male/female) for a full-time, permanent position. We offer:

Above-average pay starting at €20.00 per hour (more possible depending on qualifications and experience)
Up to 30 days of vacation per year

Takeover by our client company. Your tasks:
Organization and coordination of national and international transport (sea, air and land freight)
Preparation of export and shipping documents, also in accordance with letters of credit (transport orders, packing lists, export declarations, customs/ATLAS, etc.)
Communication and coordination with international customers and logistics service providers (in English)
Calculation and preparation of proofs of origin (supplier declarations, certificates of origin)
Selection of logistics service providers based on commercial criteria
Control and auditing of invoices from logistics service providers
Coordination of internal transport
Calculation, quotation preparation and invoicing of transport services. What you bring to the table:
Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding clerk, foreign trade clerk or comparable qualification (m/f/d)
Prior professional experience in the freight forwarding or logistics sector is an advantage.
Experience in sea and/or air freight, ideally project logistics
Export experience required, import knowledge an advantage
Proficient use of MS Office and common transport or ERP systems
Fluent English skills, additional languages are an advantage
