Freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d)

Location: Frankfurt am Main Employment type(s): Full-time Working hours: 40 hours per week

Tasks, skills and responsibilities: The position as a freight forwarding and logistics service clerk at our client's company includes the following areas of responsibility (m/f/d):

• Organization and handling of (air freight) transports, taking into account deadlines and quality standards.
• Preparation and review of shipping, customs and transport documents
• Communication with customers, airlines, logistics providers and authorities
• Planning, control and monitoring of transport chains as well as shipment tracking
• Quotation preparation, calculation and order processing
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and international transport regulations
• Handling complaints and providing solution-oriented customer support

Technical requirements

• Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk or comparable qualification (m/f/d)
• Knowledge in the areas of air freight, transport logistics and customs clearance is an advantage.
• Organizational talent as well as a structured and solution-oriented work style
• Strong communication skills and service-oriented thinking
• Proficient use of MS Office and ideally freight forwarding or logistics software
• Good German and English skills
• Teamwork skills, resilience and a sense of responsibility
• Interest in international processes and dynamic logistics operations
