Your tasks

• Independent organization and handling of international air freight shipments
• Coordination of export and import shipments
• Preparation and review of transport and customs documents
• Scheduling and booking of cargo space with airlines and handling partners
• Communication with customers, airlines, airports, service providers and international partners
• Monitoring of transport processes and delivery dates
• Processing shipment status and proactive information in case of deviations
• Preparation of offers and processing of freight requests
• Billing for completed transports
• Handling complaints and resolving discrepancies
• Maintenance of shipment and customer data in the forwarding system
• Collaboration with internal departments such as sales, customs and accounting

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable commercial qualification
• First or several years of professional experience in the field of air freight
• Good knowledge of export and/or import processing
• Independent, structured and reliable work ethic
• Strong communication skills and a pronounced customer focus
• Teamwork skills and organizational talent
• You maintain an overview even in time-critical situations.
