We are looking for a freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d) for our main plant in Steinach.

Your tasks:

• Processing freight inquiries for quotes
• Processing incoming orders and checking material availability
• Forward the packaging slips to the finished goods warehouse in good time and possibly agree on how the packaging should be done.
• Scheduling of PASCHAL trucks and allocation of freight forwarding companies
• Obtain freight quotes for daily outgoing shipments.
• Check freight invoices
• Determining the loading volume (containers for export offers)
• Request a freight quote for export shipments
• Completion of all tasks arising in his function, including administrative procedures.
• Clarification and coordination of delivery dates
• Monitoring the timely ordering of containers or trucks for export orders, including the preparation of their shipping documents to ensure their conditions are met.
• Request packaging and loading aids in good time.
• Budget planning
• Apply for a subsidy per truck at the BAG (de minimis)
• Submit an application for a subsidy for truck driver training to the BAG.
• Responsible for the PASCHAL truck fleet
• Management responsibility for the 7 employees in the shipping department
• Inventory work

Your profile:

• Completed training as a freight forwarding clerk
• Experience in the planning and handling of international transport would be an advantage.
• Confident demeanor and customer- and service-oriented thinking
• Team player
• excellent communication, organization, reliability and accuracy
• Willingness to take on responsibility
• Knowledge of English and French is an advantage.
