for the Hamburg location.

Your tasks:

• Independent operational handling of sea freight import shipments
• Processing and monitoring of import orders
• Review of offers and conditions
• Setup and maintenance of processes in the freight forwarding system
• Recording and checking invoices
• Formation of provisions
• Coverage of transport insurance
• Handling of escalation and damage cases
• Monitoring of agreed deadlines and key performance indicators
• Communication with customers, service providers, and national and international branches
• Customer support
• Support in managing new customers
• Correspondence in German and English

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services specialist (m/f/d), freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d) or comparable commercial qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the operational handling of sea freight imports
• good knowledge of the processes of an international freight forwarding company
• solid German and English skills
• good MS Office skills
• Experience with CargoSoft is an advantage
• strong communication skills
