These tasks await you:

• Scheduling and processing shipping orders
• Determining the shipping method, packaging type, and scope of shipment within the framework of general instructions and generally applicable guidelines.
• Obtaining and evaluating offers for national and international transport of orders within the specified framework, e.g. for road freight transport, heavy haulage and couriers, air and sea transport as well as for special journeys.
• Handling of standard (export customs clearance) and special customs formalities (inward/passive processing, Carnet, etc.) within the framework of the specified organizational procedures, taking into account company-, country-, and customer-specific regulations.
• Checking and posting freight invoices, forwarding charges to suppliers, customers or freight forwarders if necessary, and processing the credit note procedure.
• Handling complaints (e.g., losses, transport damage, excessive invoices, exceeding transport times). Checking invoices from service providers, e.g., freight forwarders, packers.

What you should bring:

• Completed vocational training with at least 2 years of professional experience
• MS Office experience, good written and spoken English skills
• good working knowledge of SAP R/3
• Experience gained in the departments of sales, purchasing, logistics, and export
