About the Position: Full Time- Monday to Friday 2PM to 10PM with potential overtime 17.5% Shift loading in accordance with Peter Cochrane Management EA 2018 13.5% Superannuation Cochrane’s Transport is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Freight Handler to join our team at our Gillman depot on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities: Loading and unloading freight from trucks and trailers Sorting and staging freight for dispatch Operating pallet jacks and forklifts (desirable) Ensuring freight is handled safely and efficiently Maintaining a clean and organised work area Following all workplace health and safety procedures About You: Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to perform manual handling tasks and lift heavy items Good attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Forklift license (preferred but not essential) Previous experience in freight handling or warehousing (advantageous) What We Offer: Full-time, stable employment Supportive team environment Above award wages 13.5% Superannuation Well maintained facilities and equipment Career development opportunities If this sounds like you, then hit apply now!
