Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience in a similar role with demonstrated success and impact.
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience in filing and managing insurance claims related to freight.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping practices and regulations.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Experience working towards the following key metrics:
  • Freight cost savings vs. budget
  • Claims filed vs. claims resolved ratio
  • Carrier on-time delivery performance
  • Claim processing cycle time
  • Partner satisfaction and compliance score

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We seek an experienced Fright Manager to join our team in this non-people manager role to manage the end-to-end freight operations of the company. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods while maintaining strong partnerships with freight carriers. This role oversees the filing and resolution of freight-related insurance claims, ensuring all losses or damages are properly documented and settled.
