Description

Main Location: Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork. However, the post-holder may be required to visit other sites as appropriate for the satisfactory performance of their duties and responsibilities.
Normal Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm. However, flexibility is required to meet the demands of the business.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in a similar environment.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and be accountable for tasks and actions.
  • Previous experience in Air Freight and customs an advantage.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages.
  • Proactive communicator in the use of email and phone.
  • Deadline focused.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage customer accounts.
  • Proactively liaise with customers, suppliers, and partners to ensure a high-quality service.
  • Schedule drivers and vehicles to meet customer bookings.
  • Deal with customer queries in a professional manner.
  • Issue customer quotations and conversions into bookings.
  • Maintain good working practices while proactively identifying continuous improvements that will offer customers an enhanced service.
  • Support colleagues in other departments as well as offices nationally and internationally.
  • Flexible and hands-on approach to prioritising duties and achieving deadlines.
  • Other ad-hoc and admin duties as required.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is always delivered.
  • General customs related processes, leasing with our customs team on site.
