We’re currently looking for a Sales Support Leader to join one of our international logistics partners and lead a critical function supporting their global sales operations. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, pricing strategy, and leading operational teams, this role is for you. What will you do? As a Sales Support Leader, you will oversee the performance of the Sales Support + Pricing Desk, ensuring the team delivers fast, accurate, and competitive support to commercial teams. You will play a key role in supporting sales operations, pricing strategy, and bid management, while also guiding the team to meet service levels and continuously improve processes. This role combines leadership and execution — you will manage the team while also handling complex or high-priority requests. What we’re looking for ✔ 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international trade ✔ Experience in sales support, pricing, tender management, or bid desk operations ✔ English level: B2+ / C1 preferred ✔ Experience working with air freight or ocean freight pricing ✔ Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines You’ll succeed in this role if you are highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in environments where speed, accuracy, and decision-making matter. Tools & Systems Advanced Excel CRM or quoting tools (Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot or similar) Collaboration tools such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Experience with logistics systems like CargoWise, Magaya, or similar platforms is a plus. Nice to have ➕ Experience managing bids or tender processes ➕ Background working with global logistics systems ➕ Certifications in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain (IATA / FIATA) What you’ll bring Strong written and verbal communication Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving Leadership and coaching abilities Customer service mindset with strong execution focus Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines Your day-to-day responsibilities Team Leadership & Performance Lead and coach the Sales Support team to ensure high-quality service delivery. Organize daily workloads, prioritizing requests and managing the team’s backlog. Monitor performance metrics, quality output, and SLA compliance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and response times. Sales Support Operations Support the commercial team with: Pricing proposals Customer quotations Contract preparation Sales reports and business reviews Prepare customer documentation and support account implementation. Analyze commercial performance indicators such as revenue, pipeline, and conversion rates. Handle complex quotations and strategic requests when needed. Pricing Desk Management Ensure competitive and controlled pricing strategies for air and ocean freight services. Coordinate bid responses and pricing campaigns with internal teams. Consolidate inputs from different stakeholders to prepare strategic proposals. Design routing solutions and pricing strategies aligned with business objectives. Manage pricing escalation and risk-taking decisions when required. Operational Excellence Manage daily prioritization and backlog control. Ensure process compliance, quality checks, and documentation standards. Maintain strong communication with sales and internal stakeholders.
