Who are we? Street Child France is an international organization that defends a simple but essential principle: education is a right, not a privilege. As a small organization, we are part of the global Street Child network, active in more than 20 countries in Africa, South Asia, and Eastern Europe, with recognized expertise in developing educational solutions in low-resource and emergency settings, enabling children to attend school even in contexts of humanitarian crisis, extreme poverty, or climate disaster. We are part of a supportive, dynamic, and growing European network, working closely with our fundraising office in Barcelona and the boards of directors of our fellow affiliates in Europe. Contract: Unpaid internship (support available for Erasmus+ and similar grants) Duration: Preferably 6 months (flexible) Hours: Full-time (33 hours/week) Location: Barcelona Start date: As soon as possible Key Responsibilities Create and manage content for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) Design visual content using Canva Support website updates Writting newsletter and articles for the website Assist with branding and communication materials (publications, reports, ...) Promote and assist with the organization of local and international events Support volunteer and community communications Provide basic administrative support related to communications Contribute to meetings with SCFR board, SCEU, SCUK Students or recent graduates in Communication, Marketing, Media, or related fields (preferred) Students from other relevant fields (e.g. International Relations, Development Studies, Human rights) are also welcome Strong interest or experience in international development, fundraising, education, humanitarian aid, and children’s human rights. Previous work or volunteering experience in the non-profit or/and institutional sectors. Creative, proactive, and able to work within a team and independently An interest in telling stories and an ability to communicate with clarity, in the right tone. Capacity to transform complex ideas into accessible and easy to understand graphic designs and adapt them to different audiences. Comfortable writing and communicating in a professional setting Skills & Languages High level of French and professional English required Strong knowledge of social media, website management, communication and digital tools such as Wordpress, skyblock and Mailchimp.
