Role Overview Are you fluent in French and English? Do you want to play a critical role in shaping the safety and user experience of a major global platform? We are seeking French-Speaking Content Moderators to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. In this position, you will utilize your local market expertise and sharp decision-making skills to monitor and evaluate content uploaded to a leading e-commerce environment. Your daily work will directly ensure that the community stays safe, policies are maintained, and high standards of quality are preserved. This role is offered under a 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities Content Review: Monitor and evaluate user-generated content and listings within agreed service levels and quality standards to ensure strict compliance with policy and legal regulations. Platform Safety: Identify and address content that violates safety guidelines, ensuring a secure environment for all users on the e-commerce platform. Procedural Execution: Remain adaptable to shifting policies and strictly adhere to standard operating protocols, escalating complex issues according to company procedures. Peak Volume Management: Efficiently manage high queues and volume peaks, particularly during major online promotional and holiday shopping seasons. Cross-Functional Communication: Apply strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver empathetic yet rational, data-driven decisions. Requirements & Profile Needed Languages: Native or proficient level of French combined with a strong working command of English. Skills: Excellent attention to detail, robust verbal and written communication abilities, and a deep understanding of e-commerce environments. Mindset: A rational decision-maker with local market expertise, strong customer service empathy, and the psychological resilience required for content moderation. Location: Willingness to work on-site in Lisbon, Portugal. (Note: Relocation support is available for eligible candidates moving from abroad). Work Schedule & Environment Location: Modern, fully equipped facilities (On-Site) in Lisbon. Schedule: 24/7 rotating shifts operating Monday to Sunday to support a global audience. Days Off: 2 rotating days off per week.
