A global industrial machine manufacturer is looking for a French / English Bilingual Field Service Technician based out of the Calgary, AB area. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial automation equipment repair/Trouble shoot and have a mechanical academic background. Sales training will be provided. This is a full-time, direct hire position. Nature of the job, this will requires request travel to British Columbia to Saskatchewan territory.

QUALIFICATIONS OF FRENCH / ENGLISH BILINGUAL FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN:

• Minimum Associate’s degree in engineering preferred or a 2-year Technical Degree
• Able to speak in French and English at business level
• 1+ years maintenance or related experience required (such as the Industrial, Manufacturing or Automotive industry, Internship also counts)
• Prefers to have Sales experience in automotive or industrial machine industry but not mandatory.
• Able to travel for projects, including some overnight. Travel would be Monday through Friday with weekends off. Expenses are covered.
• Must have a mechanical and/or electrical background
• Familiarity with Press brake Machines, CNC, Lasers, or EDM equipment is a big plus
• Must have valid deriver’s license
• Available for frequent travel up to 90% within BC, AB and SK.
• This position is in a manufacturing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
