JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable French Professor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to education, with the ability to effectively communicate TEF concepts to students. This role involves teaching various French TEF courses to students in person as well as online.

SKILLS

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools such as LMS platforms (e.g., Blackboard) for course management.
• Must be fluent in French and hold a valid TEF Certification
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Develop and deliver course content in accordance with curriculum standards.
• Educate students through lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities in a classroom setting.
• Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard to manage course materials and student assessments.
• Mentor students in their academic pursuits and provide guidance on research projects.
• Collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary projects and departmental initiatives.
• Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, and program assessment activities.
