JOB TITLE: FRENCH-SPEAKING SALES EXECUTIVE – SUSTAINABLY DESIGNED MERCHANDISE & PACKAGING

Salary: £35,000 + Commission (OTE £50,000–£60,000)
Location: Northwest London (French Sales Market)
We are currently seeking a fluent French-speaking Sales Executive to join a dynamic and creative international design and manufacturing company. Specialising in sustainably produced promotional merchandise, reusable packaging, and retail items, this company partners with leading brands across fashion, beauty, retail, hospitality, and the arts. This is an exciting opportunity for a design-conscious, commercially driven sales professional to help expand business within the French market, while being based in London.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Previous B2B sales experience, preferably within fashion, textiles, packaging, or promotional merchandise
  • Qualification in Fashion, Graphic Design, Textiles, or a creative discipline (preferred)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; able to manage accounts independently
  • Understanding of design-to-delivery and international logistics
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Commercially minded and self-motivated
  • Proficiency in another language (e.g., Italian, Spanish, German, Arabic) is a plus

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this London-based role, you’ll take the lead on managing and developing client relationships across the French market. You’ll represent an award-winning brand known for high-quality, ethically made, design-led products including reusable bags, retail packaging, beauty containers, promotional items, and apparel.
You’ll work closely with internal teams across concept, design, production, and logistics to ensure that every project is delivered on time, on budget, and on brief. You’ll also contribute to sales budget planning, performance tracking, and identifying new business opportunities in the French-speaking market.
Occasional travel to France for client meetings, exhibitions, and industry events is expected.

KEY DUTIES

  • Develop and manage B2B client relationships in the French market
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Lead consultative sales and deliver engaging product presentations
  • Translate client briefs into artwork mockups and production-ready specs
  • Coordinate project timelines and manage critical paths for seasonal/event-driven orders
  • Collaborate with design, production, and logistics teams (incl. teams in India)
  • Monitor and manage budgets, support with financial forecasting and reporting
  • Attend exhibitions and industry events to build networks and generate leads
  • Stay informed on sustainable design, fashion, and retail trends
