REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years of Canadian dispatching experience
• Strong knowledge of the flatbed industry, freight weights, and dimensions
• Solid understanding of Canadian Hours of Service regulations
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written) – French is mandatory
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations effectively
• Strong command of written and spoken English

• Coordinate, schedule, and book flatbed shipments
• Negotiate rates with customers to maximize profitability
• Communicate daily with drivers and customers in both French and English
• Track shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely updates
• Provide customers with accurate and proactive shipment status updates
• Manage a high volume of phone calls and emails
• Enter and maintain shipment details in our transportation management system
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with shippers and receivers
