REQUIREMENTS:

• Provide one-on-one Tutorial support sessions IN-PERSON for French (1:1 with students) at our High School campus in Oakville, Ontario to assist Middle to High School students (after school/office hours).
  Provide small group teaching of SAT and/or SSAT Prep strategies (1:3 or up to 1:5 in class maximum), IN-PERSON at our High School campus in Oakville, Ontario - to High School students (during school hours) commencing ASAP.
• Familiarity with and previous experience of teaching/tutoring SAT/SSAT or French is a requirement.
• Assess students’ learning needs and develop personalized tutoring/teaching plans according to students learning styles and abilities.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance student understanding, engagement & fill learning gaps to ensure success.
• Monitor students progress and adjust teaching/tutoring strategies as necessary
• Communicate with admin, parents/guardians, and students, to provide updates on student performance and address any concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in area of specialization and/or a related field. Candidates with a teaching certification will be given preference
• Previous experience working with High School students in a face-to-face or online classroom/tutorial support setting
• Strong knowledge and expertise in the subject areas being tutored/taught
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students
• Proficiency in using computerized educational tools and online learning resources
