OVERVIEW

Apex Educational Consulting Services Inc. is seeking French tutors to join our team and provide personalized academic support to students of varying ages and skill levels. As a French Tutor, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their educational goals in reading, writing, and speaking French by fostering a positive learning environment and adapting your teaching methods to meet individual needs. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in boosting confidence, enhancing understanding, and promoting a love of learning in our students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• OCT, FSL, and/or FLE Certification is an asset
• Minimum 2 years experience tutoring/teaching French based on the Ontario curriculum
• Able to work independently
• Access to a vehicle is an asset

• Assessing students’ current academic level in French and preparing individualized lesson plans based on the Ontario curriculum and IEP (when applicable).
• Teaching spoken and written French, as well as comprehension, to students Grades 3 to 12.
• Monitoring and tracking student progress based on AECS standards and prepared procedures.
• Reviewing students’ related assignments from school and preparing them for upcoming French tests and exams.
• Must be willing to travel to the students’ homes.
