We are looking for a Fresh Food Leader to join our Healthy Planet family! Healthy Planet Commissary is an in-store concept dedicated to bringing real, fresh, and delicious food to our communities with a quality chef-created menu. Our offerings include soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps, bowls, pizzas, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, breakfast items, baked goods, and snacks— all carefully prepared from scratch every day.
In this rewarding and challenging role, you’ll manage the full day-to-day operations of Healthy Planet Kitchen, uphold the highest quality and food safety standards, ensure accurate meal execution per recipes, maintain proper inventory levels, and lead the training and scheduling of our kitchen team. We provide an environment where you can grow professionally while making a meaningful impact.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven kitchen management and team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, ingredients, and kitchen equipment (knives, ovens, stoves, etc.).
  • Food Handler Certification is an asset.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in food service operations.
  • Proficient in budgeting and inventory management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure both independently and within a team.
  • Passion for health and wellness culinary space is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings and weekends.
  • Enjoys coaching, teaching, and developing others.
