At PAK’nSAVE Tamatea, our people play a vitally important role and are a major contributor to our store’s success. We are looking for someone reliable, energetic, and proactive. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently and not afraid of a bit of hard work!

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning
• A strong eye for detail and a sense of pride in your work
• The ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks
• Physical fitness to handle a physically active role
• Reliability, honesty, and a positive attitude
• The legal right to work in New Zealand
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

As a Fresh Foods Cleaner, you’ll be right at the heart of the action keeping our bustling Bakery department clean, safe, and ready for the next trading day. These fast-paced areas produce large volumes of food daily, so your role is essential in keeping things running smoothly and up to the highest hygiene standards.
We have a part time role available working 16 hours per week Wednesday to Saturday 7pm - 11pm

You’ll be responsible for:

• Cleaning and maintaining the departments to a very high standard to meet food safety regulations
• Meticulous and strong attention to detail
• Communicating any cleaning issues or shortage of cleaning products to the Duty Manager
• Adhering to the required cleaning procedures set down for all areas of the department
• Interacting with customers and helping them with queries if approached
