The Harvest Store is a long-standing, locally loved fruit and vegetable store serving the Mernda community for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on sourcing top-quality produce from local farmers and growers and we’re growing our team!
We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic Fresh Produce Assistants who love working in a fast-paced, team-first environment and are committed to delivering great customer service.

• Availability to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a fruit & vegetable or similar retail role.

As a Fresh Produce Assistant, your day-to-day will include:

• Store preparation – merchandising displays, cutting, wrapping, and presenting produce beautifully.
• Pack down duties – refrigerating stock, prepping for the next day, and maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
• Customer service – greeting customers with a smile, helping with product selections, and creating a welcoming store environment.
• Stock management – ensuring displays are full, fresh, and rotated regularly to maintain quality.
• Food safety – following health and safety procedures to keep our store clean and compliant.
