Description

We are looking for SAFE drivers to join our team driving BRAND NEW Ford vehicles from the plant in Chicago, IL to rail-yards. Start right away! Full time is 5 days a week with the occasional 6th day, based on production and volume of vehicles received. Must be able to work Friday through Tuesday We start at 6AM in Markham, IL No designated end time shifts last anywhere between 10-12 hours. Please see requirements before applying. Driver Duties include: Locating and inspecting vehicles Documenting damages to vehicles Driving vehicles safely to rail yards Driver Requirements: Clean motor vehicle history Minimum age of 21 Reliable transportation to and from Hammond each day. Must be a reliable and safe driver with a positive attitude and good work ethic Must be able to work and drive in all weather conditions Must be able to pass a background check No DUI's, OWI's No drug or alcohol convictions in the last 10 years Driver License: Clean and VALID drivers license for the last 3 years. Less than 3 points on MVR, no accidents, and no suspensions in the last 3 years. Shifts could last up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

Drivers are responsible for inspecting brand new Ford vehicles for damages and safely transporting them from the Chicago plant to designated rail-yards. They must document vehicle conditions and maintain a consistent schedule throughout their shifts.
