Job Purpose: The Front Counter Sales clerk will provide a meaningful customer experience in a prompt and professional manner- exhibiting knowledge of our products and pairing the customer with the correct product.  Job Duties: * Handle counter transactions of in-store goods * Handling pre-payments for special order items that are not readily available on sales floor * Stocking shelves when needed * Making sure quotes are completed for special order items and ensuring order acknowledgement has been sent to and received by purchasing * Answering phones calls and emails to engage with customers and resolve any issues that may be presented * Problem solving to ensure customer satisfaction and accuracy * Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements:  * At least 2 years in a customer-facing environment (retail, hardware stores, etc.) * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Must have excellent written and oral communication skills * High attention to detail and accuracy * Must have the ability to successfully alone under limited supervision or as part of a group * Must be able to work rotating Saturdays as needed * Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship * Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. and it’s subsidiaries are an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
