Job Details Job Location: Lake Lawn Resort - Delavan, WI 53115 Position Type: Part Time Education Level: None Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Any Job Category: Hospitality - Hotel Greet guests and checking them into the resort and checking them out Check-in and checkout guests. Approve and process all forms of payment. Assist guests with directions, reservations, general information and any special requests. Enter and retrieve information re: room rates, billing, etc. on computer system. Possesses knowledge of all resort services. Assign rooms Maintain supplies of forms, brochures, etc. Convey rates and packages information to guests. Follow all emergency/fire procedures. Do all necessary filling which will include charge receipts, keys, registration cards, etc. Answer phone and provide requested information or service and follow through to ensure guest satisfaction. Be sensitive to potential guest problems and take preventative action. Prepare, run and distribute reports. Greet and relate to guest in a courteous and professional manner Maintain inventory as needed. Respond to guest request, needs and/or changes and relay guest comments to supervisor. Possesses knowledge of reservation and billing systems. Maintains and controls room inventory and availability. Possesses knowledge of resort products, rates and special programs. Maintains security of guest keys and cash drawer; counts and verifies the cash at the end of each shift. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager and/or Front Office Supervisor. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. The position is indoors; and is exposed to hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet.
