JOB SUMMARY

Front Desk Agents are responsible for delivering exceptional guest service from arrival through departure. This includes welcoming and registering guests, assisting with reservations, handling inquiries, and providing concierge-style support. You’ll work closely with hotel teams to ensure smooth operations, maximize guest satisfaction, and uphold Avion Hospitality’s standards of trust, transparency, and results.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous hotel/front desk experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, hotel systems helpful)
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holiday

Responsibilities
  • Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism
  • Handle check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing efficiently
  • Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
  • Make and modify reservations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain proper operation of the telephone switchboard and respond promptly to calls/messages
  • Deliver packages, amenities, or guest requests when needed
  • Stay current on hotel rates, packages, and promotions
  • Work as a team player with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences
  • Handle guest concerns with patience, professionalism, and problem-solving skills
  • Follow brand and company standards for appearance, communication, and safety
  • Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations
