Position Overview
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a key part in ensuring their stay is exceptional from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
  • Process check-outs and handle payments accurately.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Manage reservations, ensuring proper room allocation and that special requests are noted.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate guest records in the hotel management system while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and facilities are in optimal condition.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, preparing reports, and maintaining guest interaction logs.
  • Support additional front desk duties, including concierge services, luggage handling, and guest amenities.

Qualifications

  • Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with hotel management systems or reservation software considered an asset.
  • Must reside in Iqaluit or be willing to relocate (relocation assistance available for candidates within Canada).
