KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
– Preferably 1-year experience of work within the service industry
– Personal experience of travel or travel industry
– Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
– Good understanding of computer handling, Opera, MICROS is preferable but not essential
– Social media knowledge and experience
– Clear communicator, fluent in Local Language & English (& other languages a plus!)
– Provide guests with assistance and positive experiences
– Play multiple roles – from front desk attendant, to barista, to greeter, to bartender, and everything in between
– Full flexibility in shift patterns 7 days a week. Early, late and night shifts included
– Manage hotel room inventory and Check in/out the Moxy way
– Make sure that every guest pays correct price for goods and hotel rooms
– Ensure all F&B outlets and merchandise are organized correctly
– Take responsibility in all Back of House cleaning duties
– Answer all phone calls according to the Moxy way and respond to emails in a timely fashion
– Make sure that Front of House always looks picture perfect
– Provide help in preparing food, cleaning, tidying, restocking, taking deliveries and organizing Back of House areas
– Operate Food & Beverage outlets the Moxy way
– Resolve guest issues you’re able to and escalate when you can’t
– Help guests and residents with every question they might have
– Work with your team to deliver the Moxy experience to every guest
– Support other crew members and follow direction from crew leaders
– Follow all food, licensing, security and health & safety policies to work safely
– Create fun activities & activations that engage with guests
– Perform First aid duties in case of an emergency if trained
– Adhere to all local licensing laws in respect of the service of alcohol
– Promote & support the Moxy brand & the Marriott Bonvoy program
– And any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties
