You’ll provide warm, professional guest service while ensuring accurate financial reconciliation during night audit shifts. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, you’ll work both independently and as part of a supportive team interacting with other departments on a regular basis. Key Responsibilities Front Desk Duties (Day / Evening Shifts) Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude Perform check‑ins and check‑outs; issue room keys and explain hotel amenities Manage reservations (phone, online, and walk‑in) Provide concierge services, recommend local attractions, and arrange bookings Process payments, cash/credit transactions, and guest folios Answer phones, resolve minor guest concerns, and coordinate with housekeeping Maintain a clean, organized front desk area Complete shift‑end cash summaries Night Auditor Duties (11:00 pm – 7:00 am) Provide excellent service to late‑arriving and departing guests Process reservations and telephone inquiries Accurately post room charges, taxes, and folios Verify, balance, and reconcile daily financial accounts Run end‑of‑day audit and prepare financial reports Conduct security walk‑arounds and ensure guest and building safety Maintain a clean work area and perform light public‑area tasks during quiet periods Follow all Occupational Health & Safety policies Qualifications & Skills Previous hospitality or guest service experience is an asset Strong English communication and problem‑solving skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy (especially for audit work) Basic computer skills (hotel system experience an asset; training provided) Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently during night shifts Team‑oriented, professional appearance, and positive attitude Criminal Record Check required Our Values : Love it • Own it • Share it • Solve it • Laugh Working Conditions Standing and being on your feet for 4–8 hours per shift Occasional interaction with difficult guests or unexpected situations Fast‑paced, sometimes high‑stress environment Shift work including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays If you’re passionate about hospitality and excited to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a breathtaking mountain community, we’d love to hear from you.
