As a Front Desk Agent at Northstar Mountain Village, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have a warm and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. You’ll manage reservations, handle guest and owner inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service. Your role is critical in creating a positive and memorable experience for both our guests and our owners.

Reports To: Front Office Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality management are a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $17.96-$20.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week

Responsibilities
  • Guest & Owner Services: Welcome guests & owners with a friendly demeanor, check them in and out efficiently, and manage room assignments.
  • Reservations: Handle phone and online reservations with both guests & owners, ensuring accurate input of guest information into the system.
  • Customer Support: Address guest & owner inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, providing solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Communication: Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly.
  • Billing: Process payments, manage guest folios, and ensure accurate billing.
  • Security: Monitor security systems, report any suspicious activities, and ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • General Administration: Maintain the front desk area, manage keys, and handle administrative tasks as required.
