Job Description The Front Desk Agent serves as the welcoming face of the property, creating memorable first and lasting impressions for all arriving, in-house, and departing guests. As a Front Desk Agent, you will: Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests. Issue room key and escort instructions to Bellhop. Transmit and receive telephone messages. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts. Compute bill, collect payment, and make changes for guests. Make and confirm reservations. Able to listen and find solutions to guests problems This individual must possess and adhere to the following core values: Integrity – Doing the right thing when no one is looking. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not required Experience handling cash, credit card transactions, or using a point-of-sale system is helpful Comfortable using phones and basic computer systems Additional hospitality or customer service training is a plus Must work weekends and holidays Additional Information Why Westgate?
