Position: Front Desk Clerk
Wage: $20.00–$25.00 per hour (Depends on skill and experience)
Job Type: Part-time only

REQUIREMENTS

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Must be familiar with Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive
  • Prior office or administrative experience is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn
  • Punctual, patient, and professional in appearance
  • Comfortable interacting with diverse guests in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

SUMMARY

As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment. Your role includes handling reservations, processing payments, and supporting various administrative tasks. Strong communication and organizational skills are key to succeeding in this role. You’ll also assist with problem-solving, record keeping, and occasional coordination with housekeeping. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take reservations via booking sites, in person, and over the phone
  • Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Complete invoices and assist guests with invoice payments
  • Assist with incoming business calls and emails
  • Troubleshoot and contact businesses for support when issues arise
  • Organize and maintain inventory records
  • Use office equipment such as printers, scanners, and POS terminals
  • Provide occasional support to housekeeping staff when needed
  • Maintain a clean and professional front desk and office area
