FRONT DESK ASSISTANT – JOB DESCRIPTION Starting Pay: $16/hour Schedule: Weekends required; Part-time or Full-time available POSITION SUMMARY The Front Desk Assistant plays a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and efficient guest experience. This position supports daily hotel operations including guest services, reservations, concierge assistance, and light housekeeping tasks. Ideal candidates are friendly, organized, and comfortable multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES GUEST SERVICES & FRONT DESK OPERATIONS * Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their stay. * Manage check‑in and check‑out processes efficiently and accurately. * Assist guests with luggage, directions, recommendations, and general concierge needs. * Answer phones and respond to emails promptly and professionally. * Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with a positive, solution‑focused approach. RESERVATIONS & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT * Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications. * Maintain accurate guest records and ensure proper documentation. * Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams. BREAKFAST & HOSPITALITY SUPPORT * Assist with breakfast setup, replenishment, and light service as needed. * Maintain a clean, stocked, and welcoming breakfast area. LAUNDRY, CLEANING & STOCKING * Complete basic laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. * Perform light cleaning duties in common areas to maintain a tidy environment. * Restock supplies at the front desk, lobby, and service areas.   QUALIFICATIONS * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods. * Comfortable with basic computer systems and email communication. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work required weekend shifts. * Hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and general concierge needs while handling reservations and administrative tasks. Provide additional support through breakfast service, laundry duties, and maintaining common area cleanliness.
