FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE 📍Panama City, FL | Full-Time | Non-Exempt 💙 ABOUT THE ROLE PanCare of Florida is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to support daily clinic operations and deliver an excellent patient experience. As the first point of contact in the clinic, you’ll set the tone for compassionate, efficient care while supporting administrative functions that keep the clinic running smoothly. If you enjoy helping others, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and value meaningful work that directly supports community health — this role may be a great fit.  WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Front Desk Associate, you will: * Greet patients and assist with check-in and checkout * Answer incoming calls and route inquiries to the appropriate team * Schedule appointments based on provider availability and scheduling policies * Confirm next-day patient appointments as assigned * Collect payments and manage billing-related conversations with professionalism and sensitivity * Help verify patient eligibility for programs such as the sliding fee scale * Submit and track medical records requests with proper authorization * Assist with processing, organizing, and routing patient chart information * Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including postage and receipt logs * Support front office operations and contribute to a smooth patient flow * Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile receipts * Communicate effectively with clinical teams, administrative staff, and patients * Maintain predictable and reliable attendance to support clinic coverage * Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned  YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU ARE… ✔ Compassionate and patient-centered ✔ Detail-oriented and accurate in documentation ✔ Skilled at multitasking and staying organized ✔ A confident communicator with a customer-service mindset ✔ Comfortable working with billing and payment discussions ✔ Team-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities  REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency with scheduling systems, phones, and office equipment * Ability to accurately handle financial transactions and reconcile balances * High attention to detail when reviewing records or verifying information * Skilled in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Knowledge of HIPAA standards and commitment to confidentiality * Problem-solving ability and willingness to assist with workflow needs  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or GED required (some college preferred) * Minimum 6 months experience in healthcare, administrative work, or customer service required * Experience in a clinical or medical office setting preferred  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This role may require: * Sitting or standing for extended periods * Walking throughout clinic spaces * Reaching, bending, filing, and handling office materials * Lifting up to 25 lbs.
