Position Available: Part-Time Hotel Front Desk Agent
Job Description:
We’re seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a part-time Hotel Front Desk Agent. As the initial point of contact for our guests, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable. Responsibilities include guest registration, reservation management, and providing detailed information about our rooms, rates, and amenities.
Schedule:
- Part-time, 16-20 hours per week
- 2 shifts per week, 4-12 AM Saturday and Sunday with more shifts may be available in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently perform check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage online and phone reservations effectively.
- Inform guests about payment options and validate credit card information.
- Welcome guests warmly and allocate rooms based on preferences.
- Provide comprehensive information about our hotel and amenities.
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms meet guest standards.
- Confirm reservations for groups and arrange customized services for VIPs.
- Recommend additional facilities and services to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality roles preferred.
- Proficiency in hotel reservation systems like Cloudbeds and RoomKeyPMS.
- Familiarity with travel planning platforms such as Booking and TripAdvisor.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on exceptional service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
