Description Greet guests, process room check-in and check-outs, share information necessary for safe and fun guest experience, post charges to rooms when necessary, process payments, balance cash and credit card transactions, run reports, update room statuses, answer guest inquiries, answer phones, issue keys and banks to individual departments, process necessary paperwork, sell lift tickets and snow park passes and other duties as assigned. Responsible for completion of daily desk duties. Requirements Greet guests, process check-in/check-outs. Answer phones and guest questions. Process cash and credit card payments and balance transactions. Issue keys and banks to other departments. Complete various weekly and monthly duties as assigned. Ensure guest and employee concerns are resolved in a professional and timely manner. Be familiar with Timberline Lodge and Ski Area information and communication network. Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace Regular and reliable attendance. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have service oriented personality. Must be detail-oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards. Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests. Must have a strong basic knowledge of resort services. Must be proficient in up selling of products and services. Must be able to adapt in a fast paced changing environment. Must be able to maintain a clean, orderly and detailed work space. Must know and follow proper Front Desk procedures. Must know and follow proper reservation procedures. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling. Must be able to work in tight spaces. Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
