Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Front Office Manager --- JOB SUMMARY The front desk agent at Caravan Court facilitates guest request completion and oversees the daily check in and check out process for hotel guests. --- ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS · Operational Responsibilities o Log all guest requests into portal o Communicate updates and correspondence with guests o Perform check in and check out tasks according to hotel standards o Complete daily front desk checklist o Adhere to core standards · Guest Services o Anticipate and attend to guest needs o Report all incidents according to company guidelines o Store guest luggage and document appropriately o Receive and store guest packages o Administer lost and found per company guidelines · Team Support and Training o Attend and contribute to department meetings o Participate in cross training o Complete all required trainings · Communication and Reporting o Facilitate all internal communications and follow up accordingly o Run all reports necessary to the operation o Complete full shift pass on reports · Safety & Compliance o Adhere to all safety and security guideline QualificationsESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Effective time management and problem-solving skills · Proficiency in Microsoft applications · Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail · Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities · Effective computer skills --- Physical Requirements · Sitting: Short periods of time · Standing/Walking: Long periods of standing, minimum of 5 consecutive hours · Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally, maximum of 20 pounds Working Environment · Interior: Majority of time spent in front desk building · Exterior: Escorting guests to required areas of the hotel --- BASICS · Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas · Display courteous behavior with guests and team members · Report any unsafe conditions immediately · Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition · Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor --- CANDIDATE PROFILE · Education and Experience o Hotel or Office administration experience preferred o No minimum education requirements required
