POSITION SUMMARY

JHL Support Services is seeking a Front Desk Clerk / Data Entry Specialist to provide professional, high-quality customer service and administrative support at the Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) on Schriever Space Force Base. This position ensures that service members, civilians, and their families have timely access to information, resources, and programs that support readiness and well-being.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • U.S. Citizen able to meet security clearance requirements for Schriever SFB access.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Access, Windows OS).
  • Ability to learn M&FRC resource software and AFFIRST within two (2) months; full proficiency in all M&FRC programs within six (6) months.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in military family readiness, community service, or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with Air Force readiness programs such as TAP, EFMP, and Personal Financial Readiness.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 1–2 years of administrative, receptionist, or customer service experience in a professional office setting. Prior experience with data entry, scheduling systems, and multi-line phone handling is required. Experience in a military, government, or community services environment is preferred, along with familiarity with readiness programs such as TAP, EFMP, and PFR.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist all walk-in customers and telephone callers professionally and courteously.
  • Answer basic questions regarding M&FRC programs, resources, classes, and registration procedures.
  • Direct customers to the appropriate program managers based on their needs.
  • Register customers in the Air Force Family Integrated Results and Statistics Tracking (AFFIRST) system for classes, briefings, or workshops.
  • Respond to M&FRC organizational email daily; forward inquiries to the correct program managers as needed.
  • Provide building orientations for walk-in visitors and workshop participants, including guidance on the Discovery Center/Computer Lab.
