Description:

- Customer Service Excellence: The Front Desk Concierge must possess outstanding customer service skills to interact with residents, families, and visitors. They should be able to provide a warm, welcoming, and helpful presence at the front desk, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills are necessary for conveying information clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. The Front Desk Concierge must be able to interact effectively with varying communication styles of others.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are essential for performing front desk operations efficiently. The ideal candidate should be able to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain an organized and orderly front desk area.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues as they arise is crucial. The Front Desk Concierge should be adept at identifying problems, analyzing potential solutions, and implementing effective resolutions.
- Adaptability: The Front Desk Concierge must be adaptable, able to handle changing circumstances and unexpected challenges with composure. They should be flexible and capable of thriving in a dynamic work environment.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Technology Oriented: The Front Desk Concierge should be a quick learner of computer systems and other facility-based software interfaces.
- Microsoft Office Suite: The candidate should be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. They should be able to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, emails, and presentations with ease.
- Telecommunications Systems: Knowledge of operating telephone systems, including handling multiple lines and transferring calls, is crucial. The candidate should be able to manage phone calls professionally and efficiently.
- Facility-Based Software: Familiarity with facility-based software used for managing resident information, maintenance requests, and other administrative tasks is advantageous. The candidate should be comfortable learning and using new software tools as required.
- Data Entry: Proficiency in data entry to accurately input and manage information within the organization’s systems. The candidate should ensure data integrity and confidentiality while performing data-related tasks.
- Email Management: Skill in managing email communication effectively, including organizing and responding to emails in a timely manner. The candidate should be proficient in using email software to maintain clear and efficient communication.
- Information Technology Support: Basic understanding of IT support to assist residents and staff with minor technical issues related to software and hardware. The candidate should be able to troubleshoot common problems and coordinate with IT professionals when necessary.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
- Certifications: Relevant experience, certifications, or coursework in customer service, hospitality, or office administration can demonstrate a commitment to professional development and proficiency in best practices.
- Continuing Education: Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices through ongoing education and training is essential for maintaining expertise and enhancing job performance.
EXPERIENCE:
- Customer Service: Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable. The ideal candidate should have a proven history of success in providing exceptional service and managing customer interactions effectively.
- Hospitality or Front Desk: Experience working in a hospitality or front desk position is beneficial. The candidate should have a strong understanding of front desk operations and best practices for managing a welcoming and efficient reception area.
- Senior Living Experience: Experience working in a senior living or healthcare setting is advantageous. The candidate should have a proven ability to build positive relationships with residents and their families, address their concerns promptly and effectively, and ensure their satisfaction with the community’s services.
- Administrative Support: Experience in providing administrative support, including managing appointments, handling correspondence, and maintaining records, is valuable. The candidate should be capable of managing front desk administrative tasks efficiently and accurately.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

As a Front Desk Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for residents, their families and visitors as they arrive at our facility. This position will initiate the Stonemont experience and facilitate the smooth delivery of service and information as it relates to resident needs.
