JOB SUMMARY

We are a busy, client-focused physiotherapy clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. Our team is passionate about health, wellness, and helping people return to the activities they love. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our patients. Your shifts will primarily be mornings (7:00am-2:00pm), with afternoons as needed (12:00pm-7:00pm). No weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous administrative or receptionist experience (healthcare setting preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proficiency using clinic management software is an asset but not required (Jane App or similar).
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy, massage therapy, or healthcare practices is an asset but not required.
Responsibilities

As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the clinic. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and welcoming patients in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answering and directing phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
  • Scheduling, confirming, and adjusting patient appointments.
  • Managing practitioner schedules and clinic calendar.
  • Processing patient intake forms and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Checking patients in and out for appointments.
  • Handling billing, payments, and insurance claims (direct billing when applicable).
  • Assisting patients with questions about services, coverage, or appointments.
  • Supporting clinic staff with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Keeping the reception area and clinic tidy and welcoming.
