This person will work in tandem with the Owner, Directors and current managers to lead and manage all staff, day-to-day school operations, adhere to the curriculum, and uphold the core values of the Aqua-Tots brand.
At Aqua-Tots, our goal is to provide the highest quality swim lessons to each of our families and have fun while we do it! Our mission is to help prevent drownings, by being the BEST swim school brand. We believe swimming is a valuable and life-saving skill that EVERY child should have. Swimming saves lives and we need amazing people like you to help that dream become a reality.
We are looking for a passionate and driven candidate who is a natural self-starter, who preferably has experience in the aquatic or recreation industry, and who wants to genuinely make an impact on the community.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Part-Time to Full Time employment: 30-40 Hours
  • Successful candidates will have 2 evenings, 2 mornings and weekend availability.
  • This position requires the successful candidate to provide a clear vulnerable sector check at their own expense.
  • Candidates will be expected to work on the customer service desk when needed (Customer Care team)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years in a Sales and Customer Care role
  • Candidates must have CPR and First Aid and (National Lifeguard is a bonus)
  • Minimum 3-years in a direct leadership role
  • College or University degree preferred
  • Strong business acumen

Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and uphold the 7 Aqua-Tots Core Values daily
  • Manage financial accounting as set forth by the Regional Managers
  • Oversee staff in the Customer Care department and provide support to the Aquatics Department
  • Supervise all day-to-day operations of the school
  • Help to anticipate staffing needs
  • Monitor and contribute to staff evaluations
  • Help develop the next generation of excellent swim instructors
  • Meet regularly with the cross-functional team: Owner, Aquatics Manager and Marketing Manager to update on day-to-day operations
